Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shorff’s upcoming spy thriller has been making waves on social media. After the trailer drop of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the audience was thrilled to see the sci-fi thriller. Although many from B-town shared their response from Salman Khan to Varun Dhawan. It was recently witnessed that Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif also shared her response after watching the BMCM trailer, later she took to Instagram to praise the actors. It came as a shock when Ali Abbas Zafar wanted Katrina to feature in the action thriller. Read along to find more details.

Did Ali Abbas Want Katrina Kaif In Badem Miyan Chote Miyan?

A news report published by News18 Showsha claimed Katrina had made sure that she wanted to feature in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. However, she couldn’t make it due to prior commitments and a tight schedule. Talking about Katrina’s heaping praise for the trailer of BMCM, Ali Abbas Zafar took his time to thank Katrina for her kind words. He wrote, “Thank you @katrinakaif missed you on BMCM please keep your dates free for the next one (sic).”

Talking to News18 Ali Abbas stated that he wanted to cast Katrina Kaif in his upcoming spy thriller. The director said, “Katrina is always on my mind when it comes to making any film. If I don’t cast her, she calls and tells me, ‘Why aren’t you taking me in your film?’ She said the same this time around too. Whenever I’ve worked with her, we’ve always shared a great bond as a director-actor duo (sic).”

While Ali Abbas Zafar spoke highly of the diva’s work front, he continued to heap praises on Katrina and emphasised that she has much bigger potential to portray in the film industry. The director said, “I feel there’s a lot of potential in her as an actor. Be it Bharat, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, or Tiger Zinda Hai, she has done some really good work with me. Every time I make a film, the first call I get is from Katrina where she complains about me not casting her. She often asks, ‘Why am I not being offered this film?’(sic).”

When Ali Abbas Zafar was asked if Katrina was the first choice for the film, he agreed and said that due to her tight schedule, Katrina couldn’t make it. Ali said, “She couldn’t do our film because she was busy with something else.
