Badhaai Ho was fighting the box office battle with Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor’s Namaste England. Ayushmann’s movie has emerged as the clear winner.
Badhaai Ho is directed by Amit Sharma. It is a comedy drama where Nina Gupta’s (Ayushmann mother) character gets pregnant at an older age leaving everyone in the family as well as outside in shock. The film beautifully portrays the embarrassment of the two sons when they came to know about their mother’s pregnancy.
The film also features actress Sanya Malhotra, who plays the role of Ayushmann’s love interest.
The collections of the movie are expected to grow in the coming days.
On a related note, Ayushmann also received praises for his performance in Andhadhun. The film featured Tabu and Radhika Apte with the actor. It performed well at the box office.
