This weekend saw the release of Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The rom-com has perfectly brought the festive vibe on the occasion of Holi. Moreover, the film’s title track Badri Ki Dulhania is also a Holi number. As the film hits the silver screen, Alia and Varun are busy promoting the film and this time they have taken over Radio Mirchi Studios. The two have left no stones unturned to promote the film. However, Badrinath Ki Dulhania opened to mixed reviews and largely positive. Fans of the stars are loving the film immensely.
Now that Holi is around the corner and Badrinath Ki Dulhania celebrates this festival of colours everyone would want to know how the lead actors, Alia and Varun celebrate Holi every year. Alia reveals that her daddy Mahesh Bhatt is not a Holi lover so she prefers to celebrate the festival with her friends. But Varun refuses to agree with Alia’s statements and instead insists that Alia is worried about spoiling her clear skin with harmful colours and avoids getting dirty in Holi. Alia also reveals that Holi is the only occasion when she doesn’t regret eating her favourite food.
Holi has always been the most loved festival of the country. On this day we all shed all our inhibitions and get immersed in colours and enjoy life to the fullest. Varun and Alia’s Holi is no exception. The duo share a great camaraderie both onscreen and off screen. We clearly saw during the promotions how Alia and Varun pull each other’s leg and tease each other.
