Dipanjan Sinha of Hindustan Times says, “Prabhas carries the film on his able shoulders essaying a range of emotions – regal, controlled, authoritative, romantic and a war machine with equal ease. What’s a protagonist without a combative arch rival? Rana Daggubati will remind you of Duryodhan and Karna in equal measure as we see him channel hatred, jealousy, strength and bravery against Baahubali.Watch out for the action and stunt sequences, executed under the ace direction of action choreographer and stunt coordinator Peter Hein.” Also Read - Saif Ali Khan to Play 'Lankesh' Ravana Opposite Prabhas's 'Ram' in Om Raut's Adipurush

Hemanth Kumar of Firstpost says, “There’s so much to love about the film, even though your mind tells you that you’ve already come across stories like this in the past. Its beauty lies in the way the story is told and Rajamouli knocks it out of the park yet again. If Baahubali : The Beginning gave us a glimpse of Mahishmathi, the second part focuses on exploring psyche of its characters and how clash of ideologies can lead to devastating results. Every expression, even if it’s a tear drop, is highlighted and the camera holds still to make us sympathise with the characters even more. Truth be told, it’s hard to translate the experience of watching Baahubali: The Conclusion into words.” (ALSO READ: Baahubali 2 The Conclusion review: The best film of 2017 has arrived, declares Twitterati!) Sify in its review said, “The first half of this second part of the movie holds interest with its racy narration and the many new elements in the movie along with the regular romantic sequences between Prabhas and Anushka and the comedy sequences. But Bhallaladeva and his father’s schemes that turn the course of the story keeps you engrossed and it also provides scenes of Rajamouli’s trademark heroism. The interval bang is a classic example. The second half also goes on smoothly till the revealing point of what prompted Kattappa to kill Baahubali. Thereafter, it loses the steam.”
