The episode of Beyhadh 03 February 2017 opens with Ashwin with a gun in his hand.
At Maya’s home, Saanjh and Arjun’s family have come to celebrate mehendi together. Vandana tells Janvi that the bride and the groom should not meet after haldi but Arjun didn’t listen to her. Janvi tells her that time has changed. Arjun comes and sits next to Maya. Maya asks Arjun about Saanjh. Arjun tells her that she didn’t come because her ego is bigger than their friendship. Maya gets up and touches feet of Suman. Suman blesses her. Ayaan takes a selfie with the complete family. Vandana asks Suman that why didn’t she come. Suman tells her that Saanjh is heartbroken and they need to leave her alone. Maya comes and asks Vandana and Suman if they are comfortable. Vandana tells her that they will be leaving soon. On the other hand, Janvi makes sure that the security is tight and Ashwin is not able to harm Maya in any way.
Ashwin is aiming with his gun. He wants to shoot Maya but he doesn’t as he wants her to suffer. He targets Janvi but then he realises that it will be very easy to manipulate her in the future so he will not shoot her. Ashwin targets Vandana and then he changes his mind. Ashwin targets Ayaan but then he thinks that it is no use targeting him as it won’t affect her. Ashwin wants to hurt Maya and he targets Arjun.
At Maya’s home, the party has begun as everyone has started dancing. Janvi starts shaking her booty and Arjun whistles. Everyone joins her. Ayaan cheerfully joins Janvi. On the other hand, Ashwin is trying to find out an opportunity to shoot Arjun but is not able to find any. Janvi drinks alcohol from a bottle and Ayaan also drinks straight from the bottle. Janvi offers Suman and Vandana but they refuse with a grin on their face. Janvi takes the bottle away. Arjun and Maya also start dancing. Soon everyone is on the floor. While Arjun and Maya re dancing, Ashwin is trying to shoot Arjun. Janvi gets to see the laser light on the neck of Arjun and she sees Ashwin at a distance aiming with his gun. Ashwin pulls the trigger and Janvi pushes Arjun. Arjun falls down. Maya asks what happened to Janvi. Janvi tells everyone that she tripped accidentally. The mehendi on Maya’s hand gets ruined and some lady says that it is a bad omen and the bride and the groom should not have met. Vandana gets tensed. Janvi stays cool. Maya starts crying about the ruined mehendi. Arjun takes her in the corner. Maya tells him that the pandit said bad things about them but Arjun tells her that a pandit cannot decide their fortune as he changed his statements for Rs 2000. Vandana listens to their conversation secretly and leaves the house. Arjun comes out to talk to Vandana but she has already left. (ALSO READ: Saanjh finds out Maya’s truth!)
After a while, Janvi is talking to the security on phone. He tells the security to take care of Arjun and his family. Maya overhears her conversation and Janvi tells her that she was just checking with the security. Maya walks towards a couch and finds a bullet embedded in the wood. Maya holds the bullet and she questions Janvi about hiding the truth. Janvi told her that she didn’t tell because of Vandana. Vandana is already so much stressed and Janvi doesn’t want her to call off the marriage. Maya cries and asks Janvi to stop him. Janvi promises her that no one will come between Arjun and Maya. At Arjun’s home, Vandana walks in and Arjun asks her why she came from the party. Vandana tells Arjun that he has lied. Vandana tells him that she believes in kundli and he bribed the pandit. Arjun tells her that he doesn’t care about such things and he will surely marry Maya.
At Maya’s home, Maya lights a candle in front of ganesh ji. She talks to the idol that Ashwin tried to kill Arjun. Maya’s dreadful past flashes in front of her eyes. Maya takes out a knife that is placed under the idol. She complains god that she thought he would take care of everything but now she has to take some action.
