The story of Beyhadh completely revolves around Maya. Maya is the main character in the story whose father ruined her childhood and she has grown into a psychopath. She is in love with Arjun and Arjun also makes sure that Maya stays happy. Arjun can do anything to see Maya happy. Ashwin is dead but Maya’s life is still in turmoil as the police is after them to find the truth. Moreover, Maya is constantly facing rejections of Vandana as she has not accepted Maya as her daughter-in-law.
In the previous story, we have seen that Janvi, Maya and Arjun are the prime suspects for Ashwin’s murder case. Arjun and Maya had plans to go for their honeymoon to Switzerland but the inspector told them that they cannot leave the city until the case is resolved. Everyone is under suspect. Arjun suspects Janvi to be the murderer. Arjun concludes that Janvi was missing at the time of murder. Saanjh knows that it is not Janvi who murdered Ashwin because the murder was done with the right hand whereas Janvi is left handed. Saanjh thinks that it is Arjun who killed Ashwin. Everyone one has their own perceptions for the killer but the police investigated the case thoroughly. Earlier they found proofs against Janvi and wanted to arrest her but Saanjh helped Janvi by producing anticipatory bail for her. Later, the police found proofs against Arjun for being the murderer as they found his hair and his blood on the site of crime. The police arrested Arjun but then Maya confused the police by telling them that it is her who killed her father and they should release Arjun. Maya is about to narrate her story when the police gets a call from the hospital. They get to know that Janvi tried to commit suicide and she has a written confession about being the murderer. In the hospital, Maya gets to know that Janvi has gone into the state of coma and she cannot speak or react but can understand everything happening around her. She fell from a height and her spinal cord is broken. The police found the confession letter of Janvi, so the judge announces Janvi to the murderer. Arjun and Maya are seem to be relieved as the police won’t be bothering them anymore but the inspector is sure that the case is yet not solved and he still needs to find the truth.
