Maya is an interesting character in the story of Beyhadh. She is a successful business woman and she has all the strategies to make things work her way. Arjun is also a smart character as he seems to have married Maya for her status and wealth. He knows how to play with the emotions and bend them for his advantage.
In the recent episodes, we have seen that Arjun and Maya took a firm stand for each other to get married to each other. Since their marriage, Arjun has been seen taking a firm stand for Maya. Vandana, Arjun’s mother, hasn’t accepted Maya as her family member. Being a supportive husband, Arjun has always tried to protect Maya from his mother and he even left his home for the sake of Maya.
The story is getting complicated since Arjun has said that he is happy to be rich and successful. Arjun said once that is the short cut to his bright and successful future. It was hard to believe then, but as the story is proceeding, it seems like Arjun always wanted to get married to Maya for her status and money. Recently, Arjun has shifted to Maya’s home. Janvi is in coma and she needs to be taken care of. Arjun thought Vandana would happily allow them to move Janvi in their house as she needs supervision. But Vandana bluntly refused and she insulted Maya and her mother, Janvi. Arjun told Vandana that he cannot tolerate Maya’s insult anymore and he is going to leave the house. Vandana thought that Arjun might come back as he loves his mother a lot, but Arjun seems to be enjoying all the luxuries at Maya’s home. He doesn’t seem to be regretful at all as he drives Maya’s expensive car to the office. In the office also, Arjun behaves rudely with his childhood friend, Saanjh and asks her to treat him as his boss. And then, Arjun behaved rudely with his another employee who used to be Arjun’s friend before his marriage with Maya. so, it is hard to say that who took advantage of whom. Is it Maya who is fulfilling her desires buy possessing Arjun or is it Arjun who is taking advantage of Maya’s obsessive nature and bending it for his advantage.
