In the episode of Beyhadh on 14 March 2017, Arjun and Maya are having lunch together and Arjun’s phone beeps. Maya reads the text message flashing on the screen in the lock mode. Someone has texted Arjun asking him to meet again tonight. Arjun doesn’t get to know that Maya has read the message.
At Vandana’s home, Vandana is trying to find something and Saanjh gives her a piece of cloth that belonged to Arjun when he was a kid. They are trying to recollect the childhood memories of Arjun. Saanjh and Vandana get emotional as they recall the memories. Vandana tells Saanjh that mother’s love is pure for their kids whereas Maya’s love is purely possession. Ayaan listens to their conversation and tells Vandana that Vandana’s love is blind and she doesn’t understand Arjun and Maya’s relationship. He cannot tolerate whatever is happening and he leaves. Ayaan is riding the bike in anger and Saanjh is following him. Ayaan clashes with a car. Saanjh helps Ayaan to get up. He is fine and got a few scratches. Ayaan is upset for what Arjun did to him and Vandana. Saanjh tells him to wait as everything will get alright, she will talk to Arjun and try to explain. Later, at home, Vandana is giving first aid to Ayaan. Vandana scolds him and Suman also comes there. Suman asks Vandana to come along with her. Vandana leaves with Suman.
On the other hand, Vikram is walking on the road. A car starts following him. Before Vikram could get alert, the car crushes him. The peon immediately rushes in and tells Maya that Vikram has met with an accident on the road. Arjun also comes in and gets to know about the accident. Maya tells the peon to call the ambulance and bear all the expenses of his treatment. Arjun is surprised. Maya tells Arjun that everyone gets paid for their deeds.
At Maya’s home, Maya has prepared dinner and has beautifully decorated the table with candles and food. Arjun wants to celebrate and he brings champagne. Maya is not happy as Arjun promised her that he will not drink again. Maya asks him if he doesn’t remember his promise. Arjun tells Maya that it is not alcohol, but it is just plain juice. Maya tells him that she trusts him and she will drink it but alcohol is not good for the baby. Arjun stops her. Maya tells Arjun that it is their baby and they have to sacrifice everything together. Arjun promises her that he won’t drink until she drinks. Arjun’s phone rings and he gets on a side to answer the phone. He is not aware that Maya is listening to his conversation. He is telling someone on phone to meet in another ten minutes. Arjun tells Maya that he has got some urgent piece of work and he has to leave. Maya doesn’t stop him and asks him to leave. Arjun reaches a restaurant and Saanjh is waiting for him. Saanjh has asked him to meet him so that she can make him understand. She asks Arjun to reunite with Vandana, but Arjun is not in a mood to talk about Vandana as she is not accepting Maya. Arjun orders drink and Saanjh objects him as he has promised Maya to not to drink. Arjun tells her that he can always drink with a friend and he wants to celebrate the good news. Maya is also seen sitting on a table in the same restaurant. Arjun keeps on drinking and gets drunk. Saanjh asks him to stop but Arjun tells her that she is his shield and he knows that he has got solution to all his problems. Arjun says ‘I love you’ to Saanjh.
