Beyhadh, is getting interesting as Arjun seems to be getting close to Maya. He is trying to change her by adding colors to her grey life. Arjun is forcing himself in Maya to bring the change and Maya too seems to be surrendering herself. Maya had an abusive childhood which damaged her personality. Her own father, Ashwin, had been the bad man in her life. In her childhood, Maya had been ill-treated by her father who used to take her to the basement of the office and torture her. He would pour color on her head and then drown her in the tub full of water. This all has affected Maya a lot and she has developed a phobia towards colors. But no one knows about this except her mom and her. Over the time, Maya has turned into a psychopath where her father’s ill treatment still keeps on haunting her.
Ashwin doesn’t want Maya to be happy ever and tells Jhanvi that he would tell Arjun that Maya is a psychopath and he would leave her. Maya, on the other hand, is scared of Ashwin and at them same time, she does not want to lose Arjun. Arjun seems to be the only hope in her life who can bring some positive change in her. All of sudden, Arjun calls Maya and demands to meet her immediately in the basement of the office. He sounds bit suspicious as Maya has hidden something from him. Tensed Maya is scared to meet Arjun and that too in the basement of the office. She is reluctant, but Jhanvi builds her confidence to go and meet Arjun. She tells her that if Arjun accepts Maya with her past then he is the perfect guy for her, and if he doesn’t then he does not deserve to stay in Maya’s life. Convinced by her mother, Maya goes to meet Arjun. Though her every step towards the basement seems to be heavy as her past keeps on haunting her, but she is courageous enough to not to run back. Once in the basement, Maya gets anxious. Arjun, who is already present there, questions Maya that why has she hidden such a beautiful location. That place could be the best studio they can ever have but Maya is hesitant of building a studio there as that place haunts her about her past. Unaware of Maya’s past in the basement, Arjun gets playful with colors and splashes them on the wall. He asks Maya to join him, but Maya is not at all comfortable and tries to move out of there. Arjun, who is cheerful, hugs Maya and they together roll over the wall. Both of them gets colors on their clothes and he tells Maya that colors are beautiful and she should not be scared to add them in her grey life. Maya rushes back home and tries to adore the colors. She seems to be changing. On the other hand, Ayaan calls Saanjh telling her that Arjun has bought a gift for her. Saanjh gets excited, but has Arjun got that gift for Saanjh? It is a beautiful red dress which he wants to gift to Maya. He simply wants to bring some changes in Maya’s life. Would Saanjh be able to understand Arjun’s point of view? What is going to happen next? Would Arjun be able to change Maya? Stay tuned to find out what happens next in the story.
