Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Kapoor, who made his debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya, is back with his second film titled Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane. After unveiling quirky posters of ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’, yesterday, the makers had dropped the official teaser of the film starring Harshvardhan Kapoor in the lead. After watching the 1-minute 25-second teaser, celebrities from B-Town like Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, among others, were all impressed and took to their respective social media handles to appreciate the action-packed teaser of the young star. Does this mean, the actor is all geared up to become the next Indian superhero?
Sharing the teaser of the film, father Anil Kapoor tweeted, “Hero woh hota hai jo “bas ladta rahe, sacchayi ke liye, insaaf ke liye!”- #BhaveshJoshiSuperhero! Here’s a li’l teaser of the storm that about to rage!,” while sister Sonam Kapoor wrote, “Woah! Seriously just got goosebumps after watching the #BhaveshJoshiSuperhero teaser!
That’s one insanely action-packed teaser Harsh! 💪 With everything that’s going on in the world, we definitely need a superhero like Bhavesh Joshi!” Even Varun Dhawan took to his micro-blogging site to write, “Looks like some crazy superhero is coming our way can’t wait for the unveil way to go Harsh.”

The film has been creating the right noise ever since its announcement. Bankrolled by Eros International, Reliance Entertainment, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena and Anurag Kashyap, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is the story of one young man’s quest for revenge, and the discovery that he’s destined for much bigger things. The film promises some intense action and well-crafted hand combat fights, which have been designed by an international crew, and is shot at some never before seen locations in and around Mumbai. Earlier in a statement, Motwane had said, “The story explores love, friendship, anger and heroism and its relevance in today’s times. It’s been with me for a very long time and I’m delighted at the way it’s turned out.
