Aamir Khan has asked for asssurance from Pakistan that terrorist attacks won't happen again amid the tensions between India and Pakistan.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently broke his silence on the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and Operation Sindoor. The actor has strongly reacted to the killing of 26 innocent people in the attack and has demanded justice from the Indian government. In the Pahalgam attack, the terrorists targeted tourists and fired bullets in the name of religion. In response to this attack, Operation Sindoor has been launched, which has been supported across the country. Now Aamir Khan has also demanded justice.

He said, “We need justice and assurance that it [terrorist attacks] won’t happen again. We believe in our government, they’ll take action against the anti-social elements who committed this and bring them to justice.”

Aamir Khan took this big decision

Amid the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions, Aamir Khan decided to delay his most anticipated movie Sitaare Zameen Par’s trailer release. Initially planned for May 8, Sitaare Sameen Par trailer was set to drop over the weekend. However, Aamir Khan and his production team have chosen to postpone the release given the rising cross-border tensions and the current security concerns.

A source close to the production house told IANS, “Concerning the ongoing developments at the country’s borders and the nationwide alert, Aamir Khan Productions have decided to postpone their upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par’s trailer. Our thoughts are with the brave hearts of our armed forces who remain steadfast in protecting the nation. As responsible citizens, we believe it is important to respond with unity and restraint during this time.”

Sitaare Zameen Par will feature Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza as the leads. The film also features 10 debutants, including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar.
