Bigg Boss 10 ex-contestant Akanksha Sharma, the former sister-in-law of cricketer Yuvraj Singh got evicted last weekend on Sunday. The commoner contestant tried to be in limelight and grab everyone’s attention with her troubled marriage. As soon as she entered Salman Khan’s show she kept a low profile in the house and did not indulge in a fight or an argument without a reason. After few weeks, Akanksha grabbed lot of eyeballs for her presence in the house, but it seems as if audiences could not connect to her and Akanksha received least number of votes. Akanksha spoke about the problems she faced in her marriage on the day of Bigg Boss premiere. But it seems as if the controversy didn’t work in her favor and she did not get enough limelight. Akanksha shocked the viewers when she spoke about her troubled marriage and said she belonged to an influential cricket family. Their wedding lasted for four months. The latest evicted contestant Akanksha Sharma has grabbed lot of eyeballs with her stint in Salman Khan’s show.
In an exclusive conversation with India Today Online, the evicted contestant Akanksha Sharma shared her Bigg Boss 10 experience and said, ” It was once in a lifetime experience for me; it was amazing. I was very comfortable being watched by everybody since I have done an acting course, and I wasn’t afraid of facing the camera. I am very happy because it was a good experience and also because I’m going to see my family. I am also a little disappointed in myself that in these two weeks, I couldn’t show who I am on the show. It’s ok, I guess, it’s a part of life.”

Akanksha was quoted by a leading daily about her experience in the Bigg Boss house and said, “They say that if you ask for something from the bottom of your heart, the wildest of your dreams can come true. I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to share the stage with a legend like Salman sir; a surreal feeling,” Akanksha said in a statement. She further even added saying, “I wasn’t expecting it, but the day the eviction was taking place, I kind of felt it that it is going to happen because I really didn’t get the chance to show who I am or represent who I am,” she said. Few week back, there were rumors which stated that there is something brewing between the Uttaran actor Gauvrav Chopra and aam aadmi contestant Akanksha Sharma. To which she was quoted saying, “No, there is nothing between the two of us. We just used to talk like normal people. We were just friends. I am not attracted to him, if that’s what you are asking.” She was quoted by IANS saying, “They say that if you ask for something from the bottom of your heart, the wildest of your dreams can come true. I feel blessed that I got the opportunity to share the stage with a legend like Salman sir; a surreal feeling,” Akansha said in a statement issued here. “I feel lucky enough to have found many friends inside the house. Life is all about these magical moments and I will forever hold these close to my heart,” she said. Recently, Akanksha Sharma’s mother-in-law Shabnam Singh spoke on Akanksha’s elimination and said, “Why do you think she got eliminated? It’s not just because she wasn’t playing the game well but it was due to the fact that she was discrediting Yuvraj, who is a national hero. Obviously, there was public outrage as his fans didn’t like it and voted her out. Yuvi has got a huge fan following and who’s she? She’s merely hopping on Yuvi’s fame and was lying all the time. We will take lawful recourse.” She evn filed a defamation case against her and Shabnam Singh’s lawyer Daman Bir Sobti has confirmed the reports and was quoted by Firstpost saying, “Yes, we will be filing a civil suit for damages and a criminal complaint about defamation. We will take video footage from the Bigg Boss house for further proof. She (Akansha) has also been giving a lot of interviews post-eviction. Akanksha Sharma even said that she is praying for her bestie commoner contestant Nitibha to win the show. But also at the same time she is supporting and thinks she deserves to win Salman Khan’s show. Recently, the latest evicted contestant of the Bigg Boss 10 expressed her desire to re-enter the house as a wild card entry and said, “I would definitely love to enter as wild card entry if given a choice. I would have a better perspective after watching everything from outside.”
Yuvraj Singh’s sister-in-law is now looking forward to acting and finishing her book on woman empowerment.
