Bigg Boss 11 Evicted Contestant Akash Dadlani : I Almost Tasted The Win, Mere Saanson Main Hai Abhi Tak

Bigg Boss 11 is just three days short of its finale episode which undoubtedly promises to be an entertaining one. Yesterday’s episode was a shocker as Akash Dadlani aka A-Cash as he loves to be called, was evicted in a surprise mid-week elimination just four days ahead of the final day. Post his eviction he spoke to Mumbai Mirror about his journey, rapport with the housemates and what he takes back from his stay in the house. The US-based contestant entered the show with an expectation to get popular as a rapper and from Day 1 promised to be an entertainment package. To be honest, no one expected him to be one of the Top 5 contestants, not even he.

He told the leading tabloid, ” I almost tasted the win. I’ll tell you the truth, ‘Mere Saanson Main Hai Abhi Tak’. I only expected to survive for up to a month in the house but it kept going. I gave my best to the show. The show was good and I am happy. I think getting evicted is a lesson for me because I have to grow and become much better and then reach the number one spot in life. I have been evicted at number five. This is a lesson for me. If I would have attained the number one spot I would have believed that I am the best but there are improvements that can be made in me and that is why I could manage to reach only the Top 5, I might have also done things which were not correct. I played the game all alone and did it all myself.” (ALSO READ : Bigg Boss 11: Decoding Eliminated Contestant Akash Dadlani’s Roller Coaster Journey)

Akash was also a lone player. He would do what he wanted to do, spoke how he wanted to, without a care in the world. When Mirror asked him if he would stay friends with anyone in the house he said that his first priority would always be his work and that he would stay cordial with all his housemates. “Honestly, everyone knows that I played individually in the show and I had come only to show my looks and music. I will meet everyone, will say ‘hi’, ‘hello’ to everyone that is obvious but first I am going to focus on my work. My nani is 88 and my mom is retired so first I would like to take care of my family. But obviously, I will meet everyone because sometimes friends are required in life.” Puneesh and his friendship stayed strong throughout the season albeit a few speed-breakers on the way. And while Vikas and he were always seen fighting inside the house, Akash admitted that he grew fond of him towards the end of the show.

Known to always change sides inside the house as and when it suited him, Akash came across as a constant irritant for many in the house. However he had the perfect reply for that for that. “Khali Haath Aye The Aur Khali Haath Jaenge’. I played alone and I did all I could with everyone on the show,” he said, adding that although Puneesh and he were good friends inside the house, they were well aware of the fact that they’re competitors. “Puneesh is a friend and a cool guy. We were very clear that this is a competition and both of us are contestants. And not only for me, but for all, it was just a game. In the end, people only look out themselves. It is survival of the fittest. In the end, the man and woman see the best for them only. I wanted to earn fame in the show and for that I did all that I could. Everybody is in search of an opportunity. And this was a very big opportunity for me. And I did my best,” he said.
