If one has to guess which contestant is the most controversial contestant on Salman Khan‘s reality show this season, one doesn’t need to brainstorm much on this, the ardent fans of Bigg Boss 11 may all be on the same lines, of course with a few obvious exceptions who may beg to differ. One name that comes to my mind when I think of one person, who has created controversies and has most likely raised the TRP of the show for all the wrong and good reasons, is Priyank Sharma – who has earlier been a part of shows like Roadies and Splitsvilla. Also Read - Bigg Boss 15, October 19 Highlights: Contestants Target Nishant Bhatt After Nominations
Priyank was ousted from the show in the very first week for slapping his co-contestant Akash Dadlani. Though he did what he thought was right, he happened to have broken the rules of Bigg Boss and was thrown out of the house. Although the celeb has entered the show again as a wildcard entry, the poor thing has again fallen into trouble for bringing up private matters of Arshi Khan on the show. In the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman lashed out at Priyank for highlighting that topic, but it did not stop Priyank from doing it again and Bigg Boss gave Priyank, a last warning and nominated him for this week’s eviction despite the housemates had saved him from eviction. Talking about the same, in a statement to indianexpress.com, Rannvijay Singha, who mentored Priyank in Roadies and Splitsvilla, comes to Priyank’s defence. He said, “I was in Spain when all of this happened. I got a missed call from Priyank when I returned. I was surprised to know that he got evicted. I asked him if he thinks that he was wrong. He just said he was not wrong. I asked him if he regrets it. He said, ‘I stood up for something that I believed in.’ So I was like if you did what you thought was right and you had to suffer through its repercussions, then its fine.” Also Read - Bigg Boss 15 Weekend Ka Vaar: No Elimination This Week on Salman Khan’s Show
Rannvijay further added, “Sometimes in life you do things just because you are young. But if it is done for the right reason and if you have the courage to take the repercussion then it is ok. I really want to know the other side of the story. Because I myself have been doing many reality shows. So, I don’t know how much of it was edited. There are a lot of times when contestants instigate each other. If you can get a strong contestant evicted with an act like this, then it is a game played very well.”
