Bigg Boss 11 Winner: Like Bigg Boss 10, Will Commoner Puneesh Sharma Beat Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan To Win The Show This Season?

Bigg Boss 11 finale is just round the corner!

Just a few days away from the grand finale, Akash Dadlani bid adieu to Bigg Boss 11 in a mid-week eviction, leaving Hina Khan, Shilpa Shinde, Vikas Gupta and Puneesh Sharma in the house. The top four finalists are now gearing up for the D-day and there is no doubt that they have a huge fan following backing them up and making sure that they go as far as possible in the show.

We are sure that Bigg Boss has something very interesting and tricky in store for the remaining four to make their last day all the more difficult with anticipation and the show more entertaining for the viewers. However, a closer look at the top 5 reveal a very interesting aspect. Out of the remaining contestants inside the house, three are celebrities while only one is a commoner. Hina and Shilpa are TV queens while Vikas is a producer who has worked on some popular shows. It is only Puneesh, who despite being a commoner, has gained followers after coming to the show and has reached this far. This is quite an achievement in itself. The fact that he has not been voted is proof that he is strong backup. In such a scenario, we won’t be surprised if Bigg Boss 10 history repeats itself and we once again see a commoner beat the celebrities to emerge a winner.

If you may recall, Manveer Gurjar, a commoner whom was unseen or unheard of till he entered the BB house, beat all odds to became the winner last year. It was a first in the history of the reality show, which earlier had winners like Rahul Roy (actor – season 1), Ashutosh Kaushik (Roadies winner – season 2), Vindu Dara Singh (actor – season 3), Shweta Tiwari (actress – season 4), Juhi Parmar (actress – season 5), Urvashi Dholakia (actress – season 6), Gauahar Khan (actress – season 7), Gautam Gulati (actor – season 8), Prince Narula (model and Roadies, Splitsvilla winner – season 9).

Puneesh is no celebrity but a businessman hailing from Delhi. But his coming this far means a lot about how the viewers are rooting for someone they can connect with instead of just supporting celebrities who have been or are their favourites. He has been controversial and entertaining at the same time and played the game well. If Puneesh walks away with the trophy, fans of the other three might be disappointed but, it will be well deserved. What do you think?
