Karan Veer Mehra has won Bigg Boss 18 after 104 days of intense drama, tasks and competition. The grand finale came down to the final contenders, Karan Veer Mehra and Vivian Dsena. Host Salman Khan, in his signature style, stood between the two on stage. With the crowd cheering, Salman ultimately raised Karan’s hand, declaring him the winner of Bigg Boss 18.

This winner of Bigg Boss 18 was chosen based on audience votes. Karan takes home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh with a brand new golden trophy that matches the opulent interiors of the Bigg Boss house. With this victory, Karan joins the ranks of recent winners like Munwar Faruqui, MC Stan, and Tejasswi Prakash of the most popular reality show.

In an interview with ANI, Karan expressed his joy and said that he believes he is ‘the chosen one.’ He said that winning consecutive reality shows is a rare achievement, and he is proud to have accomplished it, having previously won Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.

Reflecting on his journey, Karan shared that the experience taught him a lot about himself particularly his emotional state. “Before, when I used to cry over little things, I felt bad. But now, I believe that it’s okay,” he added.

This season of Bigg Boss delivered plenty of drama, emotional confrontations, evolving relationships for the audience. The show premiered on October 4, 2024, featured contestants like Vivian Dsena, Karanveer Mehra, Avinash Mishra, Chaahat Pandey, Alice Kaushik, Eisha Singh, Muskan Bamne, Shehzada Dhami, Shilpa Shirodkar, Gunaratna Sadavarte, Arfeen Khan, Sara Arfeen Khan, Tajinder Singh Bagga, Hema Sharma (popularly known as Viral Bhabhi), Shrutika Arjun, Nyrra M Banerjee, Chum Darang, and Rajat Dalal.
