Bollywood rumour mills says Salman Khan has demanded Rs 3.5 crore for the Bigg Boss 8 premiere, which is scheduled to be held in London in September 2014. Sallu Bhai is in greatest demand when it comes to TV shows and live events. Not only in India but also in the UK, Salman has a huge fan following. Apparently, the inauguration would be a two-day programme.
The Bigg Boss 8 show will be aired from September end or maybe from the first week of October and will be telecast daily in the prime time slot of 9 pm to 10 pm. Bigg Boss, aired on Colors, is the first entertainment series which is paying a high fee to its anchor. The show and its host Salman Khan, a superstar of Bollywood, have been termed as the bosses of the television world.
Organisers of the Bigg Boss 8 event and Colors have agreed to pay Salman Khan Rs 3.5 crore for the premiere, which is less than his fees per episode. But the biggest news which has come as a shock is that Salman has even demanded for Rs 50 lakh for his staff’s travel and accommodation.
But some reports also say that the fee charged by Salman is not for Bigg Boss 8‘s premiere, but for the inauguration of a banquet hall in London.
