Television actress Sara Khan, best known for her roles in popular shows like Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, and Sasural Simar Ka, has officially tied the knot! The actress got married to actor-producer Krish Pathak in an intimate court ceremony on October 6 after a year of dating.
Sharing the pictures from their wedding, the couple wrote in a collaborative post, “Sealed Together. Two faiths. One Script. Infinite Love.. The signatures are sealed. ‘Qubool Hai’ Se ‘Saat Phere’ tak ,the vows await this DECEMBER – Two hearts, Two cultures, One Forever. Our love story is crafting a union where faiths blend, not divide. Krish, the son of veteran actor Sunil Lahri, who is famous for portraying Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, has also starred in shows like POW: Bandi Yuddh Ke and Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar.
Sara Khan, began her acting career with Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai in 2007. She was later seen in shows like Preet Se Bandhi Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi, V The Serial, Sasural Simar Ka and Bhagyalaxmi. The actor also starred in numerous reality shows, including Bigg Boss season 4, where she tied the knot with her then-boyfriend Ali Merchant. However, their marriage ended in divorce just two months after the show, in 2011.
In a conversation with ETimes, Sara opened up about her interfaith marriage with Krish and said, “Love is the greatest faith of all. Every religion teaches us to love first, and that is what we believe in.” Reflecting on her journey with Krish, she added, “I have grown so much in this relationship. I have made my share of mistakes in life, but Krish feels like my best decision. We are learning from each other every day, and this marriage is truly a partnership in every sense.”
