Jason Shah made headlines with his acting in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. The actor plays the role of a British police officer named Cartwright, and his power pack performance has been the talk of the town. While people are impressed with his performance, a set of reports surfaced online claiming that the actor has been approached for Bigg Boss OTT 3. Yes, you read that right! Reports claim that the actor has been offered the show and he is even considering it. However, he is yet to accept the offer.
Interestingly, should Jason accept this offer, it would mark his second appearance on Bigg Boss. He previously featured as a wild card contestant during the 10th season of the reality show. Jason Shah left a lasting impression during his stint on Bigg Boss 10 but had to exit the show due to health concerns.
Meanwhile, during an exclusive interview with India.com, Jason opened up about the most controversial scene in the series where she said, “I think the rape scene is quite relevant because it is breaking her (Mallikajaan) character. I think she comes to terms in her own mind however she sees it. She does it for a daughter. She also realises that the power-play game still lies in the hands of the British, and she has to do what it takes as she was taking the decision (sic).”
Bigg Boss OTT’s first season was hosted by Karan Johar. The season began on August 08, 2021, and Divya Aggarwal lifted the trophy. Later in season 2, Karan Johar was replaced by Salman Khan. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 was won by Munawar Faruqui. Now, the season 3 has been making the headlines. While an official list of contestants of the reality show is yet to be announced, reports claim that Ankita Lokhande’s husband Vicky Jain, might participate in the show without his actress-wife.
Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the series features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal Mehta, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman in key roles. The show was released on May 1, 2024, on Netflix.
