The much-awaited second season of Bigg Boss Telugu is all set to go on air. And for the new season, we have a new host. Yes, you heard it right. Nani is all set to replace Jr NTR as the Bigg Boss host in the second season. This will also mark Nani’s debut on the small screen. At this point, the construction of the set of the reality show is in final stages and the actor is all set to join the show in the second week of June. The set is at Annapurna 7acres, Hyderabad.
The actor who is known for his wit is expected to add a fresh twist to the reality show. The channel made an official announcement about Nani’s association with the show. In a statement, they said, “We are excited to announce Nani as the host for Bigg Boss Season 2. With his ability to connect with audiences across all age segments, we look forward to this season being more exciting.”
The Krishnarjuna Yudham actor also seemed upbeat about being a part of the show. He said, “Television is one of the most powerful mediums of entertainment and to come on it with a magnum opus like Bigg Boss is thrilling. I started my journey as a common man and have always experimented with distinct roles to entertain people. Looking forward to hosting Bigg Boss 2.” The new season will have celebs as well as commoners. According to reports, Telugu actors like Tarun, Tejaswi Madivada, Charmi, Taneesh are being considered for the show.
