Karwaan is one of the much-awaited films to release this year. Mithila took to the micro-blogging site to share the trailer and wrote, “You never know what life has in store for you! Get onto this journey of a lifetime with us! #KarwaanTrailerOutNow!” The 2-minutes-37-seconds long trailer of Irrfan – Dulquer’s upcoming road film, Karwaan starts with a caller calling Dulquer to inform that his father passed away in an accident and the mortal remains have been sent to the hometown. While we think, it’s going to be a serious film, Irrfan proves us wrong with his one-liners yet again. The trailer will leave you in splits. Bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala’s creative production house RSVP in association with Ishka films, Karwaan is slated to hit the screens on August 3. The film will be clashing with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Anil Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan. Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan is currently undergoing treatment in the US for a serious and rare cancer, called neuroendocrine tumor. On the professional front, Dulquer, who was last seen in Malayalam-Tamil film ‘Solo’, helmed by Bejoy Nambiar and Malayalam film ‘Parava’ by Soubin Shahir, will be next seen in Karwaan alongside Kriti Kharbanda, who would be essaying the love interest of the South Indian heartthrob. Karwaan not marks the debut of Akarsh Khurana as a Bollywood director but also marks the Bollywood debut of South heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan and and Girl in the City and Little Things fame actress Mithila Palkar.
