Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding took place on December 12 and it made headlines for reasons more than one. Apart from the lavishness, Bollywood celebs showed sweet gesture when they served food to the baaratis. The inside videos surfaced on the internet in which B-town biggies like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and others were seen taking care of the baaratis. This left everyone in shock. Now, Abhishek has revealed that serving food was actually a ritual called sajjan ghot, in which the family of the bride feeds the groom’s squad. Isha and Anand’s pre-festivities took place in Udaipur. Many celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were seen dancing their hearts out at the Sangeet ceremony. Beyonce performed some of her popular songs and the three Khans set the stage on fire. The bride and groom also gave a sizzling performance. Later, their wedding took place in Mumbai which was a starry affair. The couple then hosted a grand reception.

Their wedding was no less than a fairytale and their pictures prove it. Isha and Anand got engaged in September at Lake Como, Italy.

On a related note, Abhishek is occupied with the work of Anurag Basu’s project. It is the sequel to his 2007 hit, Life In A Metro. He is all set to reunite with Aishwarya for Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun. Both the stars were last seen together in Raavan.
