Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming, titled Manmarziyan, directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film features AB junior with Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. The actor is on a promotional spree these days, which means he is talking to media and also answering questions beyond Manmarziyan.
At one such interaction, Abhishek was asked to comment on Dhoom 4. The speculations are rife that YRF has approached Shah Rukh Khan to play the villain in the fourth instalment of the popular action franchise. Calling it a mere rumour, AB said that he won’t believe anything until it comes from the horse’s mouth. He told PTI, “Till Adi (Aditya Chopra) doesn’t tell me I would not believe any of the rumours”.
Abhishek is returning on screen after two years with Manmarziyan. He will also be seen with his wife and actress, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, in a film titled Gulab Jamun. Aish herself confirmed the reports to a daily a while back and revealed that both she and Abhishek found the script of the film pretty exciting. With this new Anurag Kashyap’s directorial, the Abhi-Aish jodi will be taking over the screens after a hiatus of 18 years.
Abhishek also talked about the same during the interaction and told PTI, “Gulab Jamun is a script that both Aishwarya and I agreed to do. We are looking forward to it. But we are still figuring out when to do it”.
His current release, Manmarziyan, is a love triangle. The trailer of the film has already received positive reviews from around. In fact, the music, composed by Amit Trivedi, has also been appreciated by the viewers. The film is slated for release on September 16.
