After Race 3, Salman Khan Fans Start ‘We Don’t Want Dabangg 3’ Campaign

Salman Khan’s latest release Race 3 has done fairly well in the box office but was slammed by critics. Memes were flooded with social media and received very poor reviews. The film that did great in single screens failed to receive the same collection in multiplexes. There were jokes on almost everything in the film from screenplay to acting to music. After watching the film, audiences took to their Instagram and started a campaign, “WE DON’T WANT DABANGG3.”

Salman and his brother Arbaaz Khan have now decided that their next release will be Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat instead of Dabangg 3 that was supposed to hit theatres over the Republic Day weekend. The film has now been pushed by producer Arbaaz to the latter half of 2019.

Amod Mehra is of an opinion that Salman needs to be in a serious film like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. He said, “Salman need to be part of a powerful story, similar to what he did with Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and Sultan (2016). He has to restore his image as a bankable actor.” Atul Mohan had added saying, “ Dabangg 3 is a masala film, while Bharat offers something new. So it makes sense to release it first.”

A source told Mid-Day, both films will be shot simultaneously from September. But the pan is to release Bharat first.” Talking about shooting two films simultaneously Salman earlier said, Bharat and Dabangg are going to be shot simultaneously once I am back. I am going back to the old format of shooting two films at a time.” Another source told DNA that, “In between the shooting of Bharat, Salman is expected to start filming for Dabangg 3.”
