Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who is the brand ambassador of the Indian government’s Road Safety Campaign launched a Public Service Announcement (PSA) about road awareness along with Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. He has urged people to maintain road safety and follow traffic rules. The actor took to his Instagram to share three videos and each had a very catchy caption. He captioned the first as, “It is always better to be safe than sorry. Follow traffic rules for your own and others safety kyunki road kisi ke baap ki nahi hai. #SadakSurakshaJeevanRaksha,” second as, “Better late than never. Follow traffic rules for your own and others safety kyunki road kisi ke baap ki nahi hai. #SadakSurakshaJeevanRaksha,” and last but not the least as, “Follow traffic rules for your own and others safety kyunki road kisi ke baap ki nahi hai.

Sharing the reason for joining the campaign the Airlift star wrote on his Twitter, “When I got to know the shocking facts & figures related to road accidents which can be prevented I was immediately on board for the Road Safety Campaign to help create awareness.Thank you to Sh. @nitin_gadkari, Sh. @mansukhmandviya & Sh.Yudhvir Singh Malik for the opportunity said he immediately joined the campaign when he got to know the shocking facts and figures related to road accidents which can be prevented”.
