Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna’s Banter Over Death Threat And Daredevil Stunt For ‘The End’ is Love Speaking Wrapped in Concern, See Tweets
Akshay clearly seemed more afraid of Twinkle's comment than the stunt he had performed.
He is known as Bollywood’s Khiladi for a reason but despite his recent daredevil act at a launch event in Mumbai, actor Akshay Kumar was seen cowering at writer-wife Twinkle Khanna‘s threat. The stunt of setting himself on fire didn’t go down too well with Twinkle, who promised to kill him once he came back home after surviving the fire.
Despite the danger involved, Akshay, all suited-booted, set himself on fire as he walked down unaffected and recreated a similar scene from his upcoming movie Kesari. Sharing the pictures of the moment on his Twitter handle, Akshay wrote, “Literally, all fired up for my association with @PrimeVideoIN’s THE END (working title). Trust me, this is only the beginning @JSalke @vikramix @Abundantia_Ent” (sic).

We all know love dripped in concern comes out indirectly as anger and staying true to the emotion, Twinkle, unimpressed by her husband’s act of playing with fire, commented on the tweet, “Crap! This is how I find out that you decided to set yourself on fire ! Come home and I am going to kill you-in case you do survive this! #GodHelpMe” (sic).

We are not really sure whether and how Akshay made it to his home for he clearly seemed more afraid of Twinkle’s comment than the stunt he had performed. Replying to her anger, Akshay tweeted in reaction, “Now that’s something I’d actually be afraid of” (sic).

At the same event, Akshay, who has been associated with the film industry for more than 25 years, revealed that he will be making his digital debut with a web series titled The End. He told Hindustan Times that it was because of his son Aarav that he decided to enter the digital world. “I have a heavy line-up of films this year, but I decided to do a web-series because of my son Aarav, who asked me to do it as nothing works for the younger generation better than a web-series,” he shared.
Akshay’s next film Kesari also stars Parineeti Chopra who plays Akshay’s love interest. The film, which is directed by Anurag Singh, is all set to hit theatres on March 21, giving fans a perfect Holi gift. Apart from Kesari, Akshay will also be seen in Good News with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mission Mangal.
