Asked about the status of the No Entry sequel, Bazmee told IANS: “I have a beautiful script with me and I think the film should be made. No entry has a huge fan base. Whenever it is shown on the small screen, I get calls from people to praise it. If we make No Entry part two, it will be a very big one.” Also Read - Fact Check: Malaika Arora Engaged to Arjun Kapoor? Fans go Crazy After Actor Flaunts a Big Diamond Ring
The 2005 hit comedy film features Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly. Bazmee added, “Now, I am just waiting for my producer Boney Kapoor to give a green signal. I have also sent in my wish-list.” However, the writer isn’t sure if actor Salman Khan will reprise his character in the film. When asked to comment on the same, Bazmee said that Boney would be in a better position to answer this. He said, “I am not sure. I don’t know. Boney will be able to tell this.”
The speculations were rife that Salman is not willing to work on the sequel because of Boney’s son and actor, Arjun Kapoor. Apparently, Arjun is dating actress Malaika Arora, who was Salman’s ex-sister-in-law. Malaika was married to Salman’s brother Arbaaz. However, both she and Arjun are often seen making public appearances and commenting on each other’s social media posts.
At the moment, the director is busy working on Pagalpanti, which stars Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz and Arshad Warsi in important roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on December 6 this year.
