Thursdays are all about reminiscing walks down the memory lane and Malang star Anil Kapoor is no different as he recalled the warmth of Raj Kapoor’s wife, Krishna Raj Kapoor, through a throwback picture. Taking to his Instagram handle, Anil shared the monochromic picture featuring him in his initial days of his career, seated next to Krishna, twinning in white. On the professional front, Anil Kapoor’s recent release Malang is performing decently at the Box Office. The film has collected Rs 36.45 crore after earning Rs 3.25 crore on Wednesday. Malang, that also features Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani, Kunal Kemmu and Elli AvrRam, has already emerged as the top first-weekend grosser for the former, beating his debut film Aashiqui 2 at the ticket window.

Malang is a love story in the background of deceit, revenge and toxic tie-ups. The film also features Kunal Kemmu whose performance has been appreciated by many critics. The film has also been liked for its music. Many romantic tracks filmed on Aditya and Disha are currently running as chartbusters. The film is the story of murder, madness and mysteries combined together in the background of romance, adventure sports, revenge and some gritty characters where all four main characters are blood-thirsty people who like to kill others.

Next up, anil has Karan Johar’s Takht in his kitty. Takht is the story of the Mughal empire and talks about the period that dealt with Shahjahan’s sons – Dara Shikoh and Aurangzeb. It features Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal as the two brothers while Anil Kapoor essays the role of Shahjahan. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Alia Bhatt are also a part of the film. Takht is slated to hit the screens on December 24, 2021.
