Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Ali said that Salman Khan makes sure his real self is not absent from his character even when he is deeply involved with his character on-screen. The director has had a successful collaboration with the superstar in Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2018) earlier. Calling SK a ‘deep, mature and beautiful actor and human being,’ Ali said that the actor has his own way of identifying with his character’s emotion. The director revealed an incident from the sets of Sultan that proves that Salman is an instinctive actor. He talked about the scene in the film in which Salman had to remove his shirt and look at his shapeless body in the mirror. Ali added that the actor had been avoiding to shoot for the particular scene but suddenly one day, he came on the sets and did the scene in one take. The director said, ” He avoided doing it till the last day, then suddenly stripped and faced the camera. It was a one-take shot and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.” He went ahead to say that Salman is a spontaneous actor and he knows that ‘a star needs to be an actor, otherwise, he’ll fizzle out.’ Also Read - Sohail Khan Extends Support to Rakhi Sawant in a Video, Says 'Call me Directly'
