Zingaat was one of the most popular songs from the superhit Marathi film, Sairat, that is being adapted as Dhadak in Bollywood by Karan Johar and Shashank Khaitan. And now, music composers, Ajay-Atul are all set to recreate the song in Hindi as well. The song, has been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, who has retained the word Zingaat as it is, given that there is truly no equivalent to the world. Well, we heard a part of the song in the trailer, and now our wait to witness the magic of Zingaat as the reworked version of the chartbuster on screen is set to come to an end on June 27.

Yes, you read just right. The song is going to release tomorrow and we just can’t wait. Dhadak, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the lead, is an official Hindi adaptation of the 2016 Marathi blockbuster, Sairat. Zingaat became an instant hit with the masses and now the makers of Dhadak have retained the song in the Hindi film as well with lyrics written by Bhattacharya.

For the song, Janhvi has been dressed in a blue and red lehenga choli while Ishaan is seen wearing a blue kurta and pyjama, paired with an ethnic jacket. Both, Janhvi and Ishaan have announced the release date of the song on their respective Instagram accounts. Helmed by Shashank Khaitan, and bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film is slated to hit screens on July 20th this year. The film is launching Janhvi Kapoor, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter to Bollywood and excitement to watch her on screen is at its peak. So are you ready to listen to Zingaat 2.0?
