Good News: Kareena Kapoor Khan And Akshay Kumar’s Film to Release on This Date

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan's film Good News gets a new release date, read deets.

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan are reuniting after four years with Good News. Recently, Akshay revealed that the film will release on December 27.

The film was earlier supposed to release in September but has now been postponed to December. Akshay took to his Instagram handle to share the news and wrote, “#GoodNews for a good start to the new year! See you on 27th December!”.

Directed by debutant Raj Mehta, Good News, also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani as a young couple who helps the characters of Akshay and Kareena have a baby through IVF. Earlier, pictures of Kareena flaunting a fake baby bump from the set of the film went viral. Akshay and Kareena are reuniting with this film after four years. They were last seen together in Gabbar is Back and have also worked in films like Ajnabee, Kambakkht Ishq, Tashan, Aitraaz and Bewafaa. This is Diljit and Kareena’s second collaboration after Udta Punjab.

Akshay last release was Kesari where he was seen with Parineeti Chopra. The film did wonders at the Box Office. Kareena, on the other hand, was last seen in Veere Di Wedding. She will soon be seen in Angrezi Medium with Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan. The cast is currently shooting in Rajasthan and will then be flying to London for the next schedule. Kareena who was supposed to join the team from May will reportedly start working from June.
