Janhvi Kapoor made her big Bollywood debut with Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter and is all set to star in her next which is a biopic on first female Indian Air Force combat pilot Gunjan Saxena. Janhvi on Sunday attended the HELLO! Hall of Fame Awards 2019 where she interacted with the media and said, “Fame is important for every actor and whatever fame I have earned is all because of my family. I have been getting recognised more after my first film so, I am very grateful for love and support which I received from the media and the audience”. At the event, Janhvi even spoke about Madhuri Dixit Nene replaced her mother Sridevi in the film Kalank and said that she is looking forward to watching her in the film.

“I was excited to see her in ‘Kalank‘ from the audience point of view. I think the teaser of ‘Kalank‘ and every character’s look in the film is looking really beautiful so, I am really excited to see that film,” said Janhvi.

Janhvi and Sonam Kapoor recently attended an award show last night. Janhvi bagged the Best Debut Of The Year award while Sonam received the Trailblazer Performer Of The Year award. Janhvi took to her Instagram to share a picture from the night with her sister Sonam and captioned it, “Comfy cuddles 🌈”.


On the professional front, Janhvi will next be seen in Gunjan Saxena biopic which is based on the life of first female Indian Air Force combat pilot and first female Shaurya Chakra recipient who played a significant role in 1999 Kargil War.
