Janhvi Kapoor made her big Bollywood debut with Dhadak where she was seen with Ishaan Khatter. The actor is now preparing for her next film which is a biopic on Indian Air Force fighter pilot Gunjan Saxena. She is currently in Lucknow for her film’s shoot. Janhvi was earlier spotted dressed as a pilot and that led to speculations that it is her look from Gunjan’s biopic. While everyone was wondering the name of the film, reports suggest that the film has been titled Kargil Girl. The actor is currently in Lucknow shooting for the film. Recently, on the occasion of Sridevi’s death anniversary, Janhvi took to her Instagram to share a picture of her and her mother’s hands and gave a heartwarming caption to it that read, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it”.
Janhvi was recently in Chennai along with her father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor where they organised a pooja for Sridevi at her maternal home.
On Sridevi’s death anniversary, her family decided to auction a saree of hers for a charitable cause. The auction took place on Parisera and the website created a page which was dedicated to Sridevi. The tag line read, “Being Generous, With Sridevi” and below it, there was a tribute written for her. As per the description, the Kapoor family has decided to donate the money from the auction of Sridevi’s beloved Kota saris to Concern India Foundation.
Coming back to Gunjan’s biopic, Janhvi will be sharing screen space with one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood Pankaj Tripathi. Janhvi will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Takht that has an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar.
