Kapil Sharma tied the knot with Ginni Chatrath on December 12 in her hometown, Jalandhar. The two dated each other for quite some time and their wedding happened with two different rituals. Kapil and Ginni got hitched in an Anand Karaj ceremony and a few videos and pictures from the ceremony are currently surfacing online. Dressed in a white and pink sherwani, the comedian looks dapper while Ginni is all stunning in that pink embellished lehenga. And considering how the groom is one of the best-known comedians in the country, he made sure he’s also keeping his guests entertained at his wedding. In one of the clips, he can be seen asking the guests to enjoy the food and let him also enjoy the same. In one other video, the priest at the wedding can be heard saying how this is one of those rare moments when one can see Kapil in his serious avatar. Apart from their family members, actors Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakravarty, politician Navjot Singh Sidhu and singers Richa Sharma, Gurdas Maan also attended the wedding. The couple is hosting their first wedding reception in Jalandhar, followed by one in Mumbai, reportedly on December 24.



Kapil and Ginni met during their college days. Kapil has earlier revealed that Ginni has been a great support for him in his bad phase. He has also mentioned how his fear of losing Ginni made him marry her immediately. Ginni, too, in an interview earlier, said that she fell for Kapil when they were in college. She also revealed that she used to cook for him during their college days.
