Kartik Aaryan Ditches Boy-Next-Door Avatar For Om Raut’s Action Film, Makes Fans Jaws Drop With Front Flip

Kartik Aaryan breaks the Internet with his preparation for Om Raut's next, nails the front flip for his upcoming action flick

Stepping aside from rom-coms, national crush and Bollywood hunk Kartik Aaryan has begun preparing for Om Raut‘s action drama while his Love Aaj Kal continues to roll at the cinema screens. Ditching his boy-next-door avatar, Kartik was seen nailing the front flip at the gym and fans jaws dropped in awe.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Kartik shared a video featuring him effortlessly running up to the mat and rolling forward in the air. He captioned the accolade-worthy video as, “Action Film mili nahi ki uchhal kud shuru Ra ra ra ra ra ra ra Raut… @omraut (sic).”

While Kartik will be directed by Tanhaji fame Om Raut, the yet-to-be-titled film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar who has earlier collaborated with the actor in films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film is being made in 3D and is an action-thriller. The rest of the casting is underway and it is expected to show Kartik in a never-seen-before avatar.

In an interview with IANS earlier, Kartik was heard swooning over Om and shared, “I recently watched Tanhaji… and was completely blown away by not only the spectacular visuals but also the narrative style. Om Raut’s vision when it comes to action storytelling using 3D is unparalleled.” The director said he knew Kartik was the right choice for the film in the most initial stage when he started writing the story. Raut added that Kartik instantly gave his nod and he is thrilled to have him on board.
