Kesari: Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra Receive ‘Warm Welcome’ as They Promote Their Film in Delhi, Former Thanks Fans on Instagram

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra promoted their film in Delhi earlier today and received a 'warm welcome' from their fans. Akshay got overwhelmed and shared a video thanking Delhi.

Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra are currently busy with the promotion of their upcoming film Kesari. They were recently in Delhi promoting their film and fans went gaga when Akshay greeted them in Connaught Place. Akshay was overwhelmed and shared a video of him along with his fans.

Akshay took to his Instagram to share a video where he can be seen sitting on top of a car while fans surround him. The crowd went gaga when they saw the actor from such a close view. Akshay shared the video and captioned it, “No matter how many times in a year I come here, Delhi is always ready with a warm welcome ❤️ A big thank you from Team #Kesari”.

Earlier, Parineeti revealed why she agreed on doing the film at once when Karan Johar had approached her. She told Mumbai Mirror that she always wanted to work with Karan and when she got the opportunity she grabbed it.

She also went on to say that the film has a particular romantic song with which she fell in love with and could not say no to the film. Revealing why she chose to do this film, Parineeti said, “Fifty years from now, I can proudly say that Kesari is a part of my filmography”.

Kesari is a period drama which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, one of the bravest battles India had ever fought. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is all set to hit theatres on March 21. Akshay will also be seen in Good News with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mission Mangal. Parineeti, on the other hand, will soon be seen in Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar and Jabariya Jodi.
