Actor Akshay Kumar’s movie Kesari has been releasing one teaser after another and generating more and more intrigue among people. After releasing the first song Sanu Kehndi, which was well received, they have now released a second song aptly named Ajj Singh Garjega, which speaks about courage and pride. The film, which is being directed by Anurag Singh, also has Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. In the video that was released by Zee Music Company, it shows scenes from the movie featuring Akshay, who plays Havildar Ishar Singh, the head of the battalion that fought against 10,000 Afghan and Orakzai tribesmen in the September 12, 1897 Battle of Saragarhi. As per the details provided, the song was sung by Jazzy B, the music director was Chirrantan Bhatt, and the lyrics were by Kunwar Juneja. Akshay had himself tweeted the news about the release.

The trailer, which had been released on February 20, 2019 by Dharma Productions, showed the saffron-clad warriors fighting valiantly against all odds and changing the meaning of bravery. It begins with Akshay saying, “A Britisher, once told me, I am a slave and only cowards are born in India. Today is the day to give him a reply.” Just a few seconds later, the viewers can see Afghan soldiers, in huge numbers, running towards Akshay’s character Havildar Ishar Singh, the leader of the Sikh regiment. The trailer then takes the audience into the world of the bravest battle ever fought, the Battle of Saragarhi.

The movie has been written by Girish Kohli and Anurag, and produced by Karan Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Sunir Khetarpal. It is set to be released on March 21, 2019.
