Karan Johar reveals the premiere date of Koffee With Karan Season 6

There is a good news for all you Koffee With Karan fans out there. Filmmaker Karan Johar will be back with the next edition of the most talked about and popular celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan and has already started working on it. Karan revealed the news on Twitter last night and just a few hours later he went on to announce the date of the launch of the new season.

Karan revealed the news in his unique way. He took a picture of himself holding the signature Coffee mug to his Twitter Karan and wrote, “And here it is!!! #KoffeeWithKaran ,. premieres 21 Oct, Sundays 9 PM. @StarWorldIndia.” Earlier last night, he shared a picture where we could see his shadow on the sets of Koffee With Karan and to that he added, “Time to wake up and smell the ……. COMING SOON”.

There are already rumours that the newlyweds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma will be in the guest list. Another couple who is rumoured to be on the show is the most talked about duo Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

The show is aired in India on Star World and is hugely popular. Host Karan gets his celebrity friends and fraternity members to open up about their lives in an up, close and personal way. In the last season, the episode with Kangana Ranaut was much talked about as she branded Karan as a “flagbearer of nepotism,” leading to a debate that continues to rage in the Hindi film industry.

Karan a few days back announced his next directorial project and its star cast will blow your mind. The film is titled Takht. It has a multi-starrer cast and the good ensemble definitely tell us that something amazing is in store for us. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Jhanvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
