Taking to his Instagram handle, Kartik recently shared a video from the sets where he can be seen playing football in a pair of slippers with local boys in a gully. The boys are idly whiling their time when Sara walks in and one of them calls out to Kartik, “Kartik bhaiya, bhabhi aa gayi (Brother Kartik, sister-in-law is here).” This makes the actor blush instantly and he leans on Sara as both of them double down in laughter. Sara spanks Kartik playfully, asking him if he had taught the boy to say this. Kartik denies and shares that he had been saying it for quite some time now. Sara chases the boy asking, “Bhabhi kisko bola? (whom did you call bhabhi?).” Also Read - Soha Ali Khan's Baby Shower Throwback Pictures With Kareena Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan Go Viral

Love Aaj Kal is gearing up for its big release on Valentine’s Day. The buzz around this Imtiaz Ali directorial is high because of the chemistry between Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan. The two were strongly rumoured to be dating each other for a long time and that has now made the audience excited about their bond in the film. The film is a sequel to Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Love Aj Kal (2009).
The recently dropped trailer of the romantic flick shows how the emotion of love remains the same in a time gap of 30 years, during which the movie straddles two different love stories. Imtiaz, in his signature style, explores the expression of love which has constantly changed over time while the emotion remains the same. Making one unlearn all preconceived notions of love by bringing the emotion alive in its most raw and nuanced form, Imtiaz’s upcoming film, yet again, leaves the characters and audience introspecting about how to tackle the ever-changing dynamic of being in and finding love.
The movie also features Randeep Hooda, perhaps as Sara’s other lover. There is a striking similarity between Randeep’s character and that of Rishi Kapoor’s in the Love Aaj Kal of 2009. Like Rishi’s character, Randeep too narrates his love story settled in Udaipur. While he was called Raghu back in his youth and is later referred to as Raj, his school romance played by Arushi Sharma is similar to that of Kartik’s love for Sara or so Randeep claims at the beginning of the video. Randeep has his own share of a whirlwind romance-cum-separation which leaves Sara in tears by the end of the story narration. A clean-shaven Kartik essays the role of Randeep’s youth in the movie. The movie is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan and Imtiaz.
