Actress-turned-politician Nafisa Ali Sodhi, who is suffering from peritoneal, ovarian cancer, has time and again said that her children are the support in her struggle against the disease and the reason she is looking forward to getting better. Now she has shared a picture on her social media page, one which shows her at a younger age with her firstborn, daughter Armana, and her husband.
Sharing the picture on her Instagram page, Nafisa wrote, “This is of my firstborn Armana … and still my precious baby and healer. She takes so much upon her shoulders in being my care giver. Thank you my darling.”

She had also earlier shared pictures on her Twitter page with her family members, while taking a walk in the park after her 4th chemotherapy, and on her son putting his career on hold as he took care of her.

Nafisa has starred in a host of movies like Junoon (1979), Major Saab (1998), Bewafaa (2005), Life In A… Metro (2007), Yamla Pagla Deewana (2010), and more recently in 2018 movie Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3. She had represented India at the Miss International contest in 1976 was declared the 2nd runner-up. In 2009 she rejoined the Indian National Congress party.
