The wait is finally over for anticipating fans as Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle and dropped the trailer of his production house made Notebook, starring debutants Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. One look into the trailer and the newcomers already stand out as a promising duo, winning fans hearts instantly. Shot in Kashmir extensively, the trailer traverses through picturesque backdrops and narrates the story of a remotely located school which hosts students who are attached to Pranutan’s character but not warm to Zaheer. The two adults bond over a notebook in which a female teacher, Pranutan, shares her thoughts and Zaheer starts writing back to her. Despite never meeting face to face, they fall in love before the build-up to the climax. Pranutan is about to tie the knot. The trailer ends on the cliffhanger of whether and how Zaheer manages to stop her from getting married and confess his love to his mystery lover. Known for launching newcomers in Bollywood, actor Salman Khan introduced us to Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal in September last year and on Valentine’s Day this month, he dropped the first poster of their upcoming movie, Notebook. On Tuesday, Salman Khan Films shared a brand new poster from the film, featuring the lead actors and debutantes Pranutan and Zaheer and also the release date of the trailer of the upcoming movie.

In the shared poster, Zaheer and Pranutan can be seen looking away from each other in the backdrop of an opened notebook which carries the thought of ‘Two pages of the same Notebook’ as they essay the role of Kabir and Firdaus respectively.

Helmed by National Award winning director Nitin Kakkar, Notebook is bankrolled by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde and is all set to hit cinema screens on 29th March 2019.
