Parineeti Chopra has a lovely story to share about how Nick Jonas proposed Priyanka Chopra

Parineeti Chopra posted a heartfelt message on social media the day her sister, Priyanka Chopra got engaged to Nick Jonas. The actress seems really happy seeing her dearest Mimi didi getting married soon to the love of her life. In her interview with Filmfare recently, Parineeti talked about the same excitement. The actress elaborated a bit more on how she got to know about Priyanka and Nick dating each other and how she almost fainted when she got to know that the singer had proposed to her sister.

Parineeti revealed that Nick had come to India to seek permission from Peece’s mother to marry her. Only when he met the entire family and mommy Chopra gave her approval, he proposed to Priyanka on her birthday in the US. The Namaste London actress also mentioned that she was the first one to know about PC getting a rock on her finger. She said that she saw a missed call from Priyanka at 3 am. When she called back, Priyanka showed her the diamond ring and she almost fainted.

Parineeti told Filmfare, “The day it happened, I was the first one to get a call. But I was part of their story even before it happened. The day he proposed to her, it was her birthday. I got a missed call from her at 3 am. I knew she was holidaying. I Facetimed her. She showed me the ring and I almost fainted. Both Priyanka and Nick (Jonas) were there on call. They were like we had to tell you first. I started crying on the call. It became all emotional and beautiful”.

Parineeti is all full of praises for Nick as she mentioned that she talks to him whenever she feels her sister is having a bad day. She also, quite jokingly, mentioned in the interview, that she has already planned to steal Nick’s shoes at the wedding whenever that happens.
