Priyanka Chopra who has been making headlines lately for leaving the Salman Khan starrer Bharat is now reported to star in a Hollywood film Cowboy Ninja Viking playing the lead role opposite Chris Pratt. Priyanka will be playing Pratt’s love interest and the film is currently said to be in its pre-production stage.
The film is directed by the Canadian director Michelle MacLaren, who is known for directing episodes of The X-Files, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and Westworld and the screenplay is being written by Dan Mazeau, Ryan Engle, Craig Mazin, Paul Wernick and David Reese.
Cowboy Ninja Viking is based on the Image Comics graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo. The story revolves around a counter-intelligence unit formed by psychotherapist Sebastian Ghislain, who transforms agents known as Triplets, a reference to multiple personalities. Though not much is known about Priyanka’s character in the film, just the news of Priyanka starring opposite Chris is already making her fans look forward to the film. Pratt will be playing the role of an agent with the skills and personalities of a cowboy, a ninja, and a Viking.
Priyanka was supposed to star in Salman’s Bharat but recently left the film and moved to the US. There were rumours making the rounds that she did so because of her engagement with Nick Jonas. Priyanka will next be seen in The Sky Is Pink with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
