Shah Rukh Khan had earlier cleared the air of not being a part of the film Saare Jahan Se Achha which is a biopic on Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to travel into space. Post that rumours have been doing the rounds that the main role will be played by either Vicky Kaushal or Rajkummar Rao. Recently, Rajkummar talked about the same and said that there was no truth to any of the speculations. In a recent interview with Bollywood Life, Rajkummar was asked if he would be replacing Shah Rukh in Saare Jahan Se Achha to which he replied saying, “There is no truth to that. He then talked about his urge to do biopics and said, “Of course, I would love to do a biopic. I have done Bose, Aligarh — which was in a way based on the life of a person. I would love to do a biopic. I think it is a great challenge as an actor because you get to portray someone who people have known and seen. So, you have to change yourself completely. You need to look like that person, think like that person and to relive his own life”.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh was last seen in Anand L. Rai’s Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Even though the movie could not perform well at Box Office, Khan and his co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma received accolades for portraying challenging roles. Now, rumours suggest that he will next be seen in Don 3 with Farhan Akhtar.

Rajkummar, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of his next film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which also features Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film released today, February 1 and the Box Office collection is yet to be announced. Vicky, on the other hand, is busking on the success of his recently released film Uri: The Surgical StrikeThe film also features Paresh Rawal and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.
