In the video, which had the tag line “Tweet the change you want to see with #PowerOf18”, Rajkummar began by answering questions that were posed to him regarding his choices in life. After answering questions about who inspired him the most and who he would advice people to follow on Twitter and why, he spoke about why voting is important. “Voting gives us the power to choose, to decide who is going to run our country. There’s no point complaining because it’s us who have chosen them. And voting day is the only day when we are the most powerful. It’s us who decide. We can change the shape of our future by choosing the right people,” he said. Speaking about “youth empowerment”, he said, “I think every major thing that happens in the country is because of the youth. We have the power to question, we have the power to bring in that change that we are seeking.”

Rajkummar expressed his views as he featured in a video as part of the #PowerOf18 online video series, an initiative by Twitter India.

Past participants of the #PowerOf18 video series include singer Jassie Gill, boxer Nikhat Zareen and writer-poet Mahima Kukreja. The campaign is aimed at encouraging more youth in India to participate in civic engagement and understand the significance of their right to vote.

On the work front, Rajkummar has a number of projects lined up. He was last seen in movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga alongside Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. His other upcoming projects include Mental Hai Kya, Made in China, and Turram Khan.
