Back in Mumbai after ringing in the New Year together with the Kapoor family in New York, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor started prepping for the next schedule of Brahmastra. The tinsel town’s newest couple, whose romance started brewing up on the sets of this Ayan Mukerji directorial, last shot for the fantasy drama in December, before heading out to make the most of the holiday season. A fan page shared their selfie from the sets where the two were seen clicking a selfie together while rehearsing. In the picture, Alia looked stunning sans makeup, dressed in white tee and jeggings while Ranbir too looked fresh in a white vest paired with shorts. Both looked elated to be back on the sets and were all smiles while posing for the cute selfie. Their relationship became the talk of the town when they showed up together at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s wedding reception last year and posed for the paparazzi together. Ranbir however, pulled all stops to the rumours as he made it official in an interview and later, while on a chat show, even Alia admitted to dating her Brahmastra co-star and the duo have been painting the social media red with their pictures together and fans still cannot have enough of them. Earlier this month, the couple visited Ranbir’s family including parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor and also sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s family in New York where they brought in the New Year together.
Talking about Brahmastra, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role and will reportedly resume the shoot soon. Apart from Big B, RK and Alia, the movie, which is set to be a trilogy, also stars Mouni Roy, Akkinenni Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. Brahmastra is bankrolled by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions and was initially supposed to release on August 15, 2019, but has been postponed to December 20, 2019.
