The trailer of Bharat hit the screens and received a positive response from the audience. However, it missed to show something and that didn’t go unnoticed by the fans. Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also features Tabu along with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani and others in the film. However, no glimpse of the actor could be seen in the trailer. This irked the fans who took it to social media trying to make sense of Tabu’s absence from the promo. Now, as per a report in Pinkvilla, there’s a legit reason behind Tabu’s absence from the trailer of the anticipated film. The report published by the web portal reveals that Tabu’s character is so crucial to the film’s narrative that it can’t be given away in the trailer. It is expected that the actor plays the turning point in the life of Bharat (Salman’s character) and therefore, her glimpse can ruin the audience’s experience. Earlier, it was speculated that Tabu plays the role of Salman Khan’s mother in the film and her character is paired with Jackie Shroff, who plays Salman’s father. However, the trailer shows actor Sonali Kulkarni playing the role of the mother. The makers have deliberately kept Tabu’s role under the wraps.

Meanwhile, the trailer has created a frenzy among the audience. From action, romance, drama, and comedy – the film seems to have taped every emotion well. The trailer was earlier expected to be revealed on April 24. However, the makers decided to release it two days prior than when it was scheduled because of the excitement it generated in the audience. Various media reports suggest that the social media fan clubs of Salman Khan were too eager to know about the details of the trailer and therefore, fearing that a lot about the trailer before its actual release might be out already, the makers decided to give away the entire trailer to the viewers.

The film, produced by Salman Khan and Atul Agnihotri is slated to hit the screens on June 5 as the big Eid release.
