The makers of the Sanjay Dutt biopic Sanju, are now celebrating on the success of the film that has crossed 200 crores at the Box Office. In the film, we get to see a lot of people in Sanjay’s life who has been with him throughout and shaped him. Throughout the film, there is one bond that melts your heart and that is the friendship between Sanju, played by Ranbir Kapoor and his friend Paresh Ghelani, played by Vicky Kaushal as Kamlesh Kanhaiyalal Kapasi aka Kamli. On Sunday, Sanjay took to his Twitter to thank his friend Paresh for being his ‘pillar of strength.’ He wrote, “@pareshghelani you are the pillar of my strength. Thank you for being there, then and now. Welcome to the world of social media buddy! A day earlier, Paresh had posted for the first time on social media and wrote about his friendship with Sanjay. “Sanju is an ode to falling, rising, making mistakes and learning, flaws, imperfection – everything that defines the core of friendship. It is more importantly a relentless pursuit of life with all its shades. I know I share this sentiment with all friends and family close to him,” wrote Paresh. Paresh was welcomed to the micro-blogging site by actor Madhavan who revealed that Paresh is his go-to man as well. Apart from Ranbir, Sanju also stars Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Jim Sarbh. Sanjay has completed his shoot for Torbaaz and will be seen in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 that hits theatres on July 27. Impressed with Manisha’s performance who played the role of Nargis Dutt, Sanjay’s mother, Manisha’s mother called her all the way from Nepal to tell appreciate her work and also took Rishi’s number to tell him how brilliant his son is.
