Sanju Box Office Collection Day 10: Ranbir Kapoor’s Film Inches Closer to the Rs 300 Crore Club, Earns Rs 265.48 Crore

Sanju is nearing the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.

Rajkumar Hirani’s much talked about Sanju which is based on the life of Sanjay Dutt released last Friday. Ranbir Kapoor stepped into Sanjay Dutt’s shoes to play the actor in the biopic. While there has been an ongoing debate on Hirani’s portrayal of the actor, this isn’t stopping fans from watching the film. Even in its second weekend, the film is super strong at the box office. On it’s second Sunday, Sanju earned Rs 28.05 crore at the box office taking its 10-day total to Rs 265.48 crore. The film is fast nearing the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh while talking about the film’s box office collection, took to Twitter and wrote, ” #Sanju continues its REMARKABLE RUN… A SUPER-STRONG Weekend 2 adds to the MASSIVE TOTAL… Crosses ₹ 250 cr… Speeding towards ₹ 300 cr… [Week 2] Fri 12.90 cr, Sat 22.02 cr, Sun 28.05 cr. Sanju crossed the Rs 50 crore mark on Day 2, Rs 100 crore on Day 3, Rs 150 crore on Day 5, Rs 150 crore mark on Day 7 and Rs 250 crore mark on Day 10. We are sure within the next two to three days, the film will enter the Rs 300 crore club. Sanju has been Ranbir Kapoor’s highest grosser so far. After enjoying the success of Sanju, Jr Kapoor will now begin with the shoot of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt.
