Giving us sheer nostalgia of the weekend gone by, Coolie No.1 star Sara Ali Khan left fans wishing for a similar exotic getaway as her pictures from Goa flooded the Internet. Taking to her Instagram handle, Sara gave visual proof of setting Goa on fire with her sexy look this Monday. Donning an onion pink satin dress, Sara posed in the backdrop of the beautiful Goa sunset and fans immediately went weak in the knees. The filming of the David Dhawan directorial began in August last year in Bangkok. After shooting the major parts in Thailand, the team flew back to Mumbai where the rest of the film was shot. Now, the team wants to capture the churches and the beaches of Goa to bring more peppiness to Sara’s character and define romance between her and Varun’s character. Producer Jackky Bhagnani talked to the daily about the same and said, “Sara’s character is from Goa, so, we will also be filming some important scenes which are integral to the narrative, along with some lighter moments featuring Jaaved.”
The song that’s being picturised on Varun and Sara in Goa is composed by Tanishk Bagchi. It’s going to be shot in and around Panjim area in Goa. It’s a six-days schedule after which the film’s wrap will be announced. The makers of Varun and Sara starrer have also recreated the famous song ‘Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha…‘ from the original Coolie No. 1. The original 1995 hit film featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead. The remake of Coolie No. 1 is set to hit the screens on May 1.
